Under the joint initiative and strong support of the government departments of China and Indonesia, the China-Indonesia Cultural and Educational Exchange Association (CICEEA in short) came into being. The association is committed to build a bridge of cultural and educational communication and exchange between the 2 countries, and promoting in-depth mutual understanding and cooperation. The Indonesia headquarter is located in the scenic Bali Island, which serves as an important window for cultural exchange.

Relying on the high-quality resources of higher education institutions in China, CICEEA carry out in-depth cooperation with major universities in Indonesia. Through these exchange visits, short-term study group exchanges, academic seminars and other activities, CICEES promotes the deep integration of culture and education between the two countries. We firmly believe that the friendship and understanding between the peoples of the two countries can be enhanced through those events and arrangements.

CICEEA regularly holds various cultural exchange activities, providing a platform for the people of China and Indonesia to understand the culture of each other. At the same time, CICEEA also actively organize academic seminars, inviting scholars from China and Indonesia to discuss hot topics in the fields of culture and education, and promote exchanges and cooperation between the academic communities.  

Looking ahead, CICEEA will continue to play the role of a bridge and a hub to promote the in-depth development of cultural and educational exchanges between China and Indonesia. CICEEA will continue to innovate cooperation models and expand cooperation areas so as to contribute to the comprehensive development of bilateral relations.
